As I mentioned, I am participating in the Dare to Do-It-Yourself challenge hosted by NewlyWoodwards. This week, the challenge was to make your own DIY Thanksgiving project.
My project is very quick and very easy. I actually did this project last year, but I like it so much that I did it again! I keep all of our wine corks, and so I used those as little sign holders and then wrote Thanksgiving themed messages. You make small slits using a knife or scissors across the top of the cork, and then you can insert little pieces of paper with whatever you want to write on them. I chose, "LOVE," "FAMILY," and "GIVE" for our dining room:
And "We are THANKFUL for you!" for our fireplace mantle:
This took about 10 minutes to complete - that's my kind of project! Are you making any DIY Thanksgiving projects this year?
What a cute idea! I bet it would look really cute if you slid a few pictures into come of the corks too!
