I went to the Silent Auction and Spaghetti Dinner held at the Bremerton Elks Club Monday night to benefit Baby Enzo’s family. More than anything, I think those of us there were so thankful for the opportunity help in some small way.
When really sad things like this happen, it's hard to know what to do to really help, but it’s also really amazing to see how a community pulls together. Not only was I thankful for the opportunity to be a part of that community last night, but it made me proud of all the wonderful Bremerton small businesses that pulled through to donate items without hesitation for the auction.

If you know how to knit or crochet, you can help by contributing 8 X 8 inch squares in a washable fiber that is brightly colored. A friend, Laura, will put all of our squares together as a blanket by Christmas time. Let me know if you would like more details!
